Homemade gift/card ideas?

So the other day was my birthday, and one of my friends made me a card with pictures of our favourite things on that was, to be frank, amazing. For example, she put lots of pictures of Darren Criss, and out favourite quotes from AVPM/AVPS. She must have spent hours on it! The problem is, that was what I was going to do for her birthday, and I can't do the same thing because we like the same things, so it would be like giving her her card back (if that makes any sense?). So any ideas what I can make her for her birthday? Please stick to homemade stuff that I could personalise for her? Thanks in advance.
