Is this a fair way to treat your son?

your Father might pay the bills but as a guess he should treat you with some respect i think that is absolutely ridiculous that he can have lights on and his TV loud but you can't even play a video game muted without having things his way. well you should tell him your not gonna vist anymore and your moving out getting your own apartment, your father sounds like a mental case maybe he should take his psych medication. good luck
